If you’re trying to get help but you think your abuser may be checking up on you, it’s often a good idea to cover your tracks. Here are a few tips on how to do it.

  • Mobile Phone – Switch off your GPS or location services from within the phone’s settings. And remove any messages you wouldn’t want your abuser to read. Go to any phone shop for help in doing this
  • Internet – Regularly delete your browser history.
  • Social Media – Be careful what you say in your posts. And who you’re ‘tagging’. It’s also a good idea not to post your location.
