16 Days of Activism: turning awareness into action

Throughout the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we have been sharing daily actions on our social media channels, encouraging our followers to take small but significant steps to stand up against domestic abuse and gender-based violence.

These actions include:
• Promoting safe workplaces with domestic abuse policies.
• Recognising the signs of abuse and how to support survivors.
• Raising awareness through the launch of our new “I’m a Believe-Her” merchandise line, where proceeds directly support survivors and fund our vital work.
• Running a community poll to amplify the voices of survivors and understand what changes are needed locally to address gender-based violence.

Empowering Communities

One highlight of our campaign has been the look back at our ‘From Admin to Activist’ mini-guide, aimed at helping online community moderators and social media managers identify and tackle toxic behaviours in their digital spaces.

This toolkit is part of our commitment to ensuring safer, more respectful online spaces, in line with the themes of White Ribbon Day.

Join us in taking action

As we continue through the 16 Days of Activism, we invite you to:
• Share our campaign messages and help spread awareness.
• Visit our online shop and show your support with our branded merchandise.
• Engage with our poll and help shape the conversation around what communities need to end violence against women and girls.

Together, we are making a stand for survivors, challenging harmful behaviours, and fostering a culture where everyone can thrive in safety and respect.

Thank you for your continued support in this vital work.
