A Magical Gift from Lapland UK

A Magical Gift from Lapland UK

This festive season, we were truly touched by the generosity Lapland UK in Ascot.

Through Berkshire Community Foundation, they invited representatives from three small charities, including our CEO and Deputy Refuge Services Manager, to collect dozens of beautifully filled Christmas stockings for children impacted by domestic abuse.

But the magic didn’t stop there. After the last visitors had gone home, they hosted us for an enchanting private tour of their winter wonderland. Over mulled wine and mince pies, they shared the heart and vision behind Lapland UK and arranged a surprise visit with none other than Father Christmas himself!

We are incredibly grateful not only for the gifts but also for their generous donation towards Christmas parties for the children staying in our refuge houses. Their kindness will bring joy and light to so many young lives this holiday season.

Thank you, Lapland UK, for making this Christmas extra special for the children we support. ✨

A group photo featuring smiling individuals gathered around Santa Claus in a cosy, festive wooden setting. Santa is seated at the centre, holding a 'Good List' book, while the group holds embroidered red stockings with the word 'Lapland' on them. The scene includes warm decorations, and the text 'Lapland 2024' is displayed at the bottom of the image in golden lettering
