As part of our ongoing commitment to prioritising the safety and well-being of domestic abuse survivors, we’re making a bold decision today, on International Human Rights Day.
We’re leaving Twitter.
While we have engaged with many of you on this platform, we’ve taken the step to depart due to the toxic and misogynistic environment that unfortunately thrives there.
It doesn’t align with the values of The Dash Charity, and it’s not a space where we feel survivors of domestic abuse should be encouraged to reach out to us.
There are plenty of other ways for survivors to contact us, and we will continue to provide support through safer, more supportive platforms.
We’re grateful for your understanding and continued support as we work together to end gender-based violence and support those in need.
Thank you for standing with us in this important stand for safety and dignity for all.
With warm regards,
Nicola
