Treks And Challenges
Runs, treks and challenges are a great way to raise awareness about a charity close to your heart, as well as raise funds.
Every year, The Dash Charity works alongside dozens of athletes and adventurers to help raise funds. These funds are much appreciated and go a long way in helping those within our care and the vulnerable within our community.
Dash Charity is fully registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
Runs, Treks And Challenges
There’s nothing more motivating than gearing up for a personal challenge, and we have plenty to choose from if you need ideas. If you want to take part in a local event, there are many to choose from. Whether you are an individual seeking a new personal challenge or a group of friends/Corporate looking for a team-building event, we will have an event or challenge out there to suit your needs.
If you want to climb a mountain, trek around the UK or do something even more adventurous, our team can support you with your fundraising efforts. We know you will have thought long and hard before committing to such a challenge, so we don’t ask for huge amounts of fundraising either, because we know you will do your best!
Virtual Racing
We’ve also teamed up with Virtual Racing UK, this is a great way to unleash your competitive side while still maintaining social distancing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. When you sign up to do their virtual annual 1000km or 1000-mile challenge (walk, swim, cycle), 20% of your entry is donated to charity! You don’t have to do the distance all in one go either – you can break it down to suit you, so no matter what your age you can get involved.
For more details or if you would like to let us know that you are signing up to an event, contact Caron our Community Engagement Manager.
Local Races
Our local races, like many others up and down the UK have sadly been postponed this year for obvious reasons. However this gives you plenty of time to practice and get up to speed for next year! You can sign up for 2021 below!
We have a race place ready for London Marathon 2021 – watch this space if you would like it!
Help The Vulnerable Within Your Community Through Runs, Treks And Challenges
- As well as helping you to keep healthy, these challenges provide an opportunity for you to gain a sense of personal achievement. One of our volunteers walked the 3 Peaks Challenge in 2019 even though she was terrified of heights! Click here to read about why she did it.
Your help is always appreciated!
