John

“John is being supported by one of our community team”

‘John’ called in feeling very low – a friend had advised him to call us as he believed John was going through domestic abuse. ‘John’ described a pattern of emotional abuse, constant criticism of his parenting by his partner. ‘John’ was recovering at home after being diagnosed with Coronavirus and his partner had taken the baby to her parents, but is now refusing to let ‘John’ have any contact with his daughter. ‘John’ is being supported by one of the Advocacy and Outreach team, is in touch with the Mental Health team and we have signposted him to free legal advice.
