Sut Ye

“we managed to put ‘Sut Ye’ in touch with a local lawyer who gave her some free legal advice”

‘Sut Ye’ called in for help after calling police following an incident of domestic abuse by her husband. Sut Ye and her husband are in the middle of divorcing but still living in the same home. ‘Sut Ye’ has been making preparations to move out into a B&B but due to Covid-19 this is not currently possible.

‘Sut Ye’ had been staying at the Care Home where she works, but this is just an interim solution.

When at home ‘Sut Ye’ stated that her husband turns off the utilities and she locks herself in her bedroom away from him.

Following that call, we managed to put ‘Sut Ye’ in touch with a local lawyer who gave her some free legal advice and we are trying to access some B&B accommodation specifically allocated for keyworkers,  ‘Sut Ye’ is still being supported by one of our specialist workers.
